Are you wondering what you CAN dispose of in our bins?
- Large and bulky items, not normally collected by city residential waste collection, for example old couches, mattresses, lawn furniture, appliances, yard waste and more.
Members of the homeowners association can bring their waste FREE OF CHARGE. Non members pay $100 for disposal of their waste.
NOT accepted are:
- Hazardous material.
- incompatible waste (i.e. oil tanks, oil drums, paint cans, oil, solvents, chemical or liquid waste, railroad ties, tires, batteries, pressurized containers).
- Any item that contains or has contained freon (i.e. refrigerators, freezers, air conditioning units)
Any of these items can be brought to the Eco Centre.
