The RRHOA is a private, not-for-profit, association operated for the long-term benefit of its member homeowners. We are self managed, and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by fellow homeowners at the Annual General Meeting.
Membership is highly encouraged for owners of all properties within the areas designated “River Ridge Community” (see Community Map). Every other gated community in Edmonton requires that your membership be paid or there will be measures taken to recover them by their association. Through a modest membership fee our homeowners provides funds to put up lights at the front gates, pay for the electricity, provide a great flower garden at the front gates, maintain and fund outer fence repairs, etc.
River Ridge Homeowners Association actively participates in the efforts to try to keep our green space intact. There is a strong push from the City of Edmonton to put high density housing in our park. This will take a large green area away from our community…. This green space is one of the aspects that sets us apart. The park is such an import community gathering place!

The activities supported by your membership dues:
• Maintenance of the grounds around the gate at Heath/Riverbend Road
• Improved lighting at this entrance gate to the community
• Spring and Fall Bin Days for members
• Bouncy Castle and Fun activities for the kids at all events
• Music event in Henderson park
• Movie night for the kids (young and old) in Henderson park
• Liaison with Community League on skating rink in Henderson park
• Upkeep of the surround fence subsidy program
• Efforts to defend the maintenance of Henderson Park
