Role of the Association
The homeowners of River Ridge voluntarily agreed to form the Association in an effort to ensure and then maintain our community as an excellent place to live. All activities are aimed at supporting the community and thereby contributing to the improvement of the appearance and reputation of River Ridge. A relevant measure of success is the sustaining and improving of property values in River Ridge.
In the past few years your Association has undertaken the following:
* Maintaining the entrance at Heath Road
* planted flowers
* mowed the surrounding grass
* improved the lighting
* installed lights in the trees
* Offering Spring and Fall Bin Days
* Monitoring the surround fence
* encouraging homeowners to repair fence
* subsidizing required fence rebuilds
* painting fence in consistent colours
* Replaced stolen signs at the Ridge in Hedley Way
* Cooperating with the Community League
* See skating rink in Henderson Park
* Supporting community defence of park
* Advocating on behalf of community
